Excessive thatch is a dense mat acting like a felt blanket that excludes air, water, fertilisers and other additives from the roots. Excessive thatch also serves as a breeding ground for insects and many turf diseases. Bio Grounds Keeper thatch management provide the helping hand nature often needs to break down excessive thatch. Bio Grounds Keeper is made with bacterial cultures including cellulose degrading micro-organisms Bacillus Subtilus and Bacillus Licheniformis. These microbes are carried on a base of Sustane 3-3-3 that has been fortified with 6% humic acid and 2% soluble carbohydrates. Apply 4 to 6 times per growing season at 14 to 21 day intervals. Ideal application timing is with aeration and verticutting.
